We Wheel Survive is a three-day event organized by wagon communities, housing projects, initiatives, collectives and individuals.
In addition to performances, music, art, skill-sharing, and a truck demonstration, the event creates a political and cultural space for exchange, networking, and collective action against gentrification, displacement, and the loss of alternative ways of life and cultural forms.
The goal is to bring different structures together, learn from one another, and develop joint political statements—artistically, activistically, and practically.
We want to learn from each other and be strengthened.
We Wheel Survive stands for solidarity, diversity, and the right to the city.
WWS is a 100% DIY solidarity event, and proceeds go, for example, to wagon sites threatened with eviction, new projects, or squats affected by repression.
We do not tolerate racist, sexist, queer- and transphobic, Islamophobic, anti-Semitic, or violent behavior.
There will also be an awareness team on site.
